This industry leader is one of the nation's largest sellers of automotive, RV, and marine extended warranties. Warranties are currently sold solely through dealers, with the company's sales agents calling on brokers and dealers.

PROBLEM, CHALLENGE, OPPORTUNITY
When Gabriel Group assumed management for printing and distributing this company's collateral materials, hundreds of client art files lurked deep in the hard-drive cesspools of myriad users. Production managers maintained some of these documents in various stages of revision on their own desktop. Previous vendors had squirreled away the only version of many files. The firm's marketing department harbored still more.

For Gabriel Group, helping to locate and retrieve the necessary files from these depths was step one. But the central challenge remained: to fine-tooth comb each document to identify the correct version, proofread, and catalog all versions and files appropriately. The process required hours, sometimes days, of patient and careful attention. Only then could production and distribution begin.

Gabriel Group's Digital Asset Management system enabled its staff to successfully untangle this client's snarled web of digital traffic. Gabriel Group trained internal staff to use the new customized protocol on an ongoing basis, ensuring for the long-term that files will be easily retrieved, updated, and replaced. All forms of this client's digital assets are now identified and stored in Gabriel Group's Digital Asset Management system.

RESULT
To date, nearly 500 documents have been located, streamlined, organized, and uploaded to the Digital Asset Management system. The client's network of users can now quickly and easily "check out" the files for their most pressing production deadlines.
