As Executive Vice President of Fundraising, Pierson Gerritsen's primary role is to lead Gabriel Group's Fundraising team as they design and implement campaigns to significantly improve funding for their non-profit client base. Gerritsen joined Gabriel Group because his personal and professional values resonate with those of the company, including the rewarding challenge of helping non-profit organizations thrive.
"Pierson is a key player as Gabriel expands its Fundraising unit, and we are excited to have him on our team," said Bill Ziercher, Gabriel Group's Chairman.
Prior to joining Gabriel Group, Gerritsen led the comprehensive fundraising efforts for Covenant Seminary as Senior Director of Development and Executive Director of Covenant Seminary Foundation. He has also served overseas with Mercy Ships, supporting the ministry of bringing life-changing medical care and ministry to people in great need. Gerritsen brings a wealth of experience in leading nonprofit fundraising teams, consulting and business development.
Gerritsen earned his MBA from Mercer University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College. He is an active member of the St. Louis Planned Giving Council and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. Gerritsen and his wife, Emmie, have three sons, Chase, Luke and Jake.
